Cica Ghost’s new installation Strawberryland opened a few days ago and I finally found time tonight to head over and take a look. This work is just as whimsical and playful as most other exhibits by the talented Cica, but, and as also is usually the case with this artist’s work, there are some surprises. Mainly this time it is the gigantic size and cheerful colors of most objects. Watching my avatar walking and flying around, I felt a bit like a miniature in Lilliput Land. The colors in Strawberryland are mostly bright green, red and white, providing a cheerful sense of change of season. And it is windy on this sim, sheets on a clothes line flutter in the wind and the hair of most figures stand on end. It feels busy. I ended up pulling back from the crowd and the hustle and bustle and found a little wooden girl without a face standing stiffly in a patch of white flowers. Head over and take a look, as always, Cica’s work should not be missed.
