Amona Savira at dathuil

dathuilThe opening of Second Life photographer Amona Savira‘s show Distributed Pieces of Self is tomorrow, Friday, July 3, 2015 at 12 PM SLT at the elegant datuil gallery. The exhibit will remain open until July 31. Amona’s background in art school, a degree in art history as well as aesthetic philosophy, and experience in working in art galleries, have all had an impact on her Second Life creative work. She also notes in the card available at the gallery entrance that I am a regular reader of poetry. So I am often inspired by a text or a song lyric, like many others. My pictures are often set in an architectural context, which I find inspirational for mood, light and design. I also build photo sets. I am always a mood seeker.  The title of her exhibit was inspired by a poem entitled Over Time by Martha Collins. There are around thirty photographs to be seen in this exhibit, all exceptionally beautiful and, yes, poetic. Head over and take a look.
