I am happy to share with you an interview with Tutsy Navarathna that is now published in The Virtual Review. As most of you know, Tutsy was recently awarded the first prize in the MachinimUWA VII Transcending Borders Challenge with his machinima MetaPhore. We connected a few days after his well-deserved victory and started putting together the interview over the Christmas holidays. It was easy to work with Tutsy, who is not only creative and talented beyond belief, but is also super nice and has a great sense of humor. Yesterday morning we got together to finalize the interview at the Galerie des Machines, an installation by Tutsy about India sponsored by Olympe Rhodes, that opened to the public in November 2014. This exhibit is immersive, showing photographs, collages and film. Amongst other things that are on display there are a Ganesh Temple, a little center showing the Mahabarhata and an Indian-inspired building in Pop Art style. Head over to take a look at this beautifully put-together and exotic cultural work, you will not be disappointed.
