Fall 2014: All Bundled Up

Snapshot_001

I spent most of my Second Life© time this weekend terraforming and organizing a new thing that I am planning (more on that to come another time). This undertaking has been both exciting and exhausting and I know I need a break from it. One of the best ways  for me to relax is to blog and there is plenty to blog about in Second Life any time there is a change of season. At the moment, most designers, sim-owners and bloggers are busy finalizing and presenting their work for Fall. In terms of design, and the fairly recent introduction of mesh, this season it seems more than ever that anything is possible in Second Life. Talented fashion designers, like Nevery Lorakeet (*LpD*) and cocoro Lemon (COCO), are taking their work to a whole new level. I am totally in love with the incredibly well-constructed winter coat and boots that I picked up at The Chapter Four this morning! In terms of craft design, the work of the content creator Alex Bader (Studio Skye) is so popular that at this point one almost expects to see it on any well-designed sim.  There are many, many sims to visit for a great Fall experience; I ended up taking my photograph at L’Arc-en-Ciel, which is put together and owned by Asa Vordun. Finally, for a truly outstanding compilation of Fall sims, please visit the Echt Virtuell blog by fellow blogger Maddy Gynoid.
